"Ten years from now you will be the same person you are today, except for the people you meet and the books you read."
Heard this on one of the podcast I listen to the other day and it really resonated with me. I have been lucky enough in life to have a great family and make some great friends. However you can't really control the people you meet. About 9 months ago, Walgreens started making management read selected books to improve our management. Some of the books have actually been good reads. Once I got started with some of these books I became more interested in non-fiction for the first time ever. Just wondering if there are any books you guys have read that you would recommend. I'll start:
Management related:
The Three Signs of a Miserable Job - Patrick Lencioni
The Five Dysfunctions of a Team - Patrick Lencioni
How people make choices:
Nudge - Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein (Currently reading)
Personal Finance:
The Total Money Makeover - Dave Ramsey (Any of his stuff is good)
I do have all these if anyone wants to borrow any. If I think of any more I will add them.
